Maryam, well it's the one name of characters on the book. Maryam itu seorang Ahmadi, yang mencintai pria yang bukan Ahmadi. I even dont know why Ahmadi couldnt be in love with someone whom arent Ahmadi. O.K they have their each belief.
Maryam, is only woman who wanted the normal life as happy as I have, may be. But she didnt get it. When she felt in love w/ someone who wasnt Ahmadi but already got married, she just tried to run away, back to her family and forgot every moments w/ her husband before. Then, she met someone else. An Ahmadi one. She got happy, even at the first time she wasnt love with her husband, but finally she got pregnant and had a baby. I just remember one of quotes that Maryam said to her younger sister about love:
Cinta itu, lahir dari kebiasaan.. jika bersama seseorang membuat kita bahagia, nyaman, dan merasa aman, Lalu alasan apa lagi yang membuat kita tidak mencintainya?
In the end of the story, I just read that every Ahmadi in Lombok wasnt having the happily ever after life. In fact the Ahmadi was displaced form their owh home. How it could be by the way, though. And the last statements that I read and still remember on it, is:
semakin banyak cobaan, maka sebenarnya Ahmadi akan semakin percaya bahwa kepercayaan mereka itu benar.
But I dont wanna write about Maryam's story here surely. I prefer write about Ahmadiyah.*Thanks to Mrs. Okky who already wrote this book until I've been aware for writing a post of it* hugandkiss
Actually, what's Ahmadiyah? when was it started? and.. where was it created?
The founder of Ahmadiyah is a Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, then we could call him "Ahmad". He came from India. The issue said that he was born as a twin, with a sister. But, the sistar died. Then the issue was spreading to whole world that Ahmad is a Imam Mahdi, whom would be born as a twin. I dont know it's true or not, but.. I read the source just like it.
Ahmadiyah came to Indonesia before Indonesia got the independence (source). The development of Ahmadi was increasing rapidly. About one or two years ago, I heard and watched on tv that there were many violence which was happened to the Ahmadi. Other said that Ahmadi is misguided. Well, from your point of you, my be it's but how about the point of their view? I was just realized by my sister's statement, that Rosullullah said:
"setelah kematianku akan ada 73 golongan dalam islam, dan hanya ada satu golongan yang akan benar-benar masuk surga"
It means *I think* even Rosulullah didnt call the name of what kinda group will be coming into heavens. So, how dare I said that A is misguided, B is misguided, or any other community. Especially it makes violence for each group, it isnt fair, I think.
Well, I'm not goin to give u any advices, I just.. who knows the Ahmadi is misguided? And who knows I'm not misguided, are I? So, why I suppose to disturb they whom have their own belief. I'm just talking about belief, not believe. It means, I'm talking about somethin' that someone believes on the own heart, arent I?
Oh.. come on, dont be so upset. It's just a writing of my thinking. Actually, I'm the one who'll protect my belief if there's other wanna disturb it. I'm the one who'll stand in the first line for saying Allahu Akbar, when the guns are ready for shooting at enemies, if my belief are destroyed. ^^ But, I just wanna to little bit being an open minded girl ^^
